Flight Trip

Walking: Moderate to Heavy

Are you ready to head to the "Happiest Place on Earth" this year with Special Journeys?! Get your Disney gear ready (and your comfy walking shoes!) as we travel to Florida to enjoy three of their amazing parks! Walt Disney World takes up nearly 47 square miles and is filled with shopping, music, rides, attractions, delicious Disney themed food and so much more!

We begin our trip at Magic Kingdom, where you will immediately feel the true essence of Disney magic. When we step through the gate, we see Cinderella’s Castle right in front of us.  Here we will enjoy many of the famous attractions that you’ve probably heard about before: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and so many more!

However, if you’re not someone who enjoys rides, there are plenty of other activities to enjoy such as the ‘Hall of Presidents’ where you can see Lincoln deliver the Gettysburg Address, the ‘Haunted Mansion’ where we climb aboard a slow-moving vehicle through a labyrinth of haunted chambers, or travel ‘Under the Sea’ to see the Journey of the Little Mermaid. And don’t forget the delectable dining, savor some Italian cuisine at the trattoria inspired by Lady and the Tramp, or take a bite out of one of Walt Disney’s favorite food, the Chili-Cheese Dog or Cheese Fries. YUM!

The next day we will spend traveling around the world at Epcot! Centered around a beautiful lagoon, Epcot’s World Showcase provides entertainment, dining and shopping which are unique to many different countries such as Mexico, Norway, Morocco, France, Italy and more. We’ll also enjoy the seas with Nemo & Friends – a 5.7-million-gallon aquarium that is home to thousands of fish, sharks, and other sea life. If spending time earth-side seems a bit tame for you, try out the Mission: SPACE ride which simulates a realistic launch into space where you and your crew pilot your capsule to Mars! Or pop on over to the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, a new ride at Disney where there is the first ever reverse-launch coaster and one of the largest fully-enclosed coasters in the world! Or head on over to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure where you zip, dash and scurry through Gusteau’s kitchen as if you were Remy.

Our final day will be spent at Hollywood Studios. If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to be Woody or Buzz Lightyear, wait no longer! Step into Toy Story Land where you will immediately feel like you are the size of a toy. Filled with rides, such as the Slinky Dog Dash Roller Coaster, it’s a fun place to be entertained and keep an eye out for Buzz, Jessie and all your Toy Story favorites walking around the park. Hollywood Studios also offers plenty of stage shows to watch, such as Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage. or Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. If you’re a fan of Star Wars, this will be your day to explore fun rides and experiences such as Star Wars – The Adventure Continues where you jump into hyperspace on a thrilling 3D flight to famous Star Wars destinations. Or step aboard the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run for an interactive smuggling mission.

In between all the exploring, rides, and delicious rides, we’ll also be sure to do some Disney shopping. We’re sure we can find special celebratory merchandise to commemorate our time at Disney.

But don’t forget the best part, meeting your favorite Disney Characters such as Olaf, Mickey, Sully, Woody and more! So ‘Be Our Guest’, bring your Mickey ears, and get ready for a magical trip!
