Universal Studios Florida & Sea World

2022

November TBD

(7 Days)

Flight Trip

Walking: Moderate to Heavy

If you’re a fan of meeting your favorite movie characters in real life, fire breathing dragons, seeing sea animals, and enjoying an exciting ride or two, then this trip is for you! Head to Universal Studios and Sea World with Special Journeys and explore the 541-acre theme park.

Our trip begins with not one but two exciting days exploring Universal Studios. Universal Studios has it all, rides, attractions, delicious food, character meetups, and unique shopping experiences. We’ll begin our adventure by checking out the epic rides.

First up we hop aboard a NEST vehicle at the Transformers 3D ride where we join Optimus Prime and Bumblebee as we fight to keep the AllSpark out of Megatron’s hands. Then hop onto you own bike with E.T. and take a thrilling, but gentle, ride through the sky. We’ll have to

dodge bad guys and soar into the stars where E.T.’s magical home awaits. Next, enter beneath a massive fire-breathing dragon and journey deep underground with Harry Potter, Ron and Hermione where we evade the wrath of villains Voldemort, trolls, and other creatures. But, if dragons, Transformers, and aliens sound a bit too serious, step aboard Minion Mayhem for a fun, heartwarming and humorous ride where we become an actual Minion and travel through Gru’s super villain laboratory.

If we want to take a break from the twisty turns of Universal Studios rides, we’ll take a seat to enjoy one of the many shows. With many options from Animal Actors on Location where we see a wild showcase of the most talented animal actors such as birds, cats and pups from movies and television to The Bourne Stuntacular where we watch Jason Bourne as he outruns sinister characters.

And when it comes to shopping, Universal Studios has an excellent selection of unique opportunities. Harry Potter fans will enjoy Ollivanders Wand Shop where inside towering walls reveal thousands of boxes stacked to the ceiling. Here you can select one of many Harry Potter wands and sets. At E.T.’s Toy Closet and Photo Spot you’ll find many E.T. themed toys, figures, apparel and trinkets. If you’re looking for something a little eviler, pop into the appropriately named Evil Stuff store for all your Minion and Villain essentials such as toy blasters, apparel, key chains and more.

Since we are spending two full days at the theme park, we’ll make time to stop for a bite to eat at one of the many themed restaurants and snack bars. From The Simpson’s Krusty Burgers to Harry Potter’s Leaky Cauldron, and Bake My Day where we can enjoy a delicious Minion or Unicorn themed cupcake, macaron and cookies, there is plenty to choose from.

Before our next activity on this trip, we will enjoy some time on the City Walk. City Walk which is also known as the ‘Epicenter of Awesome’, is the one place where we can enjoy fun entertainment and exciting restaurants. Restaurants here include Bubba Gump’s Shrimp, the Chocolate Emporium, and Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville with shopping opportunities at the Universal Studios Store.

Our final adventure in Florida, brings us to Sea World. We will learn about and see all of the exciting, beautiful and spectacular species of the ocean, while also enjoying theme park rides and shopping. This extensive park provides many animal collections, shows and presentations. Enjoy watching dolphins, seals, orcas and otters playing, swimming and exploring their environments. We’ll learn about and see the Sea World Coral Rescue where manatees and turtles are rehabbed and then sent back into the wild. If you’re interested in what it would be like to swim as fast as a shark, step onto Orlando’s tallest, fastest and longest coaster named Mako, which is the name of the ocean’s fastest known shark. We’ll then see the world through the eyes of a penguin in the thrilling adventure of Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin.
